Chelsea must beat Manchester City this weekend to stand a chance of returning to the Premier League top four at the first opportunity.
A 2-1 loss to Manchester United last time out allowed Tottenham to leapfrog the reigning champions and Spurs host Huddersfield 25 hours before kick-off at Etihad Stadium so could be five points clear come Sunday.
City, meanwhile, continue to motor towards the title after thrashing Arsenal for the second time in five games, first in the EFL Cup Final before a league meeting at Emirates Stadium, both by a 3-0 scoreline.
